My journey brought me to exactly where I need to be.
Hi, I’m Courtney Greer—thanks for stopping by!
Health and fitness have always been part of my life, but my journey with ulcerative colitis is what truly shaped my path. Living with an autoimmune disease can feel isolating, overwhelming, and frustrating. When I was diagnosed in 2010, I felt lost. My doctors prescribed medication to suppress my symptoms, but I was left with lingering questions: Why wasn’t anyone addressing the root cause? Was there a way to support my body beyond medication?
Beyond the physical toll, my mental and emotional well-being suffered. The unpredictability of my symptoms created constant anxiety. I withdrew from social events, worried about what I could eat, and felt like my body was working against me. I struggled with stress, guilt, and frustration, not realizing how much these emotions were fueling my disease. It wasn’t until I took a holistic approach—addressing not just my diet, but also my mindset, stress levels, sleep, and relationships—that I truly began to heal.
This experience led me to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and an Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) Certified Coach. I’ve learned that managing a chronic condition isn’t just about diet—it’s about stress, sleep, movement, relationships, and overall balance. The way we think and feel directly impacts our health, and prioritizing emotional and mental well-being is just as critical as the food we eat. My mission is to help others navigate these challenges and create sustainable habits that support both their physical and emotional health.
I received my training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, became board certified through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching, and earned my AIP certification to better support those with autoimmune challenges. I also hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
I live in Maryland with my husband and our three young boys. Most weekends, you’ll find us on the sidelines of a sports field, exploring the beach, or boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
If you’re ready to take charge of your health—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally—I’d love to connect!
